First of all, please note that I have absolutely no idea what this story's about, so if I say something stupid, it's all my own fault.
I love the darkness and creepiness of the bottom right face. Then there's that guy, who looks like he's going to be a very intriguing character. But the woman's face in the upper right corner looks... out of place, somehow. She just doesn't fit in with the others' dramatic expressions. I think that if you make her fade into the background more, or layer another image over her, it would work better.
Kind of the same thing for the blue-eyed girl. Like I said, I think it's really cool the way her face kind of fades away. If you softened the edges, especially by her nose, it would increase that effect a lot. In fact, since you seem to be aiming for a mysterious look, soften up everything.
By the way, I love the way their eyes stand out so bright and vivid among the black and white. Those eyes definitely keep me interested; this is a book I would pick up if I saw it on a store shelf. ;D
